Crescendo-The Making: Part III

“Guys, guys, guys guys……guess what, guess what, guess what!!! BOHEMIA is gonna perform at the Star nite….”

And what followed for another 20 minutes (I noticed it in my watch) can safely be called mayhem. All the people present in the tiny ICICI room (my heart goes out to the ICICI room. Personally, I don’t know much about the bank that ICICI is, and I don’t even care. But the room, rather a gallery enclosed on all the 5 sides, is worth my sympathy) started singing and dancing and banging their heads as if they were already present at a virtual Bohemia concert… they took away my share of excitement and happiness too, while I watched them and my watch, in turns, and asked myself if that was ever gonna stop. And then there was a round of “muah muah”s and “I sooooo love you”s and “WE ROCK”s. The point is……this kind of madness and fervor can only be witnessed here, at CRESCENDO…


The meeting with our teacher incharge, Mr. Kumar Bijoy, infused in us yet higher level of enthusiasm at one point, and at another, made us realize that there is still so much to be done at the ground level…. An aeroplane is made with a vision to fly in the sky, but is built with the very first nail and iron assembled. No matter how beautiful and grand the interiors look, but its makers only know how they’ve managed to put it up and what all lies beneath.
And then the next immediate task was to decide upon the official logo of the fest. This saw around a dozen core members huddled around the coordinator’s laptop. “Yeh sahi me bilkul faad hai…..”…. “ ye toh bhool k bhi ni” …. “ew…ye toh ganda hai”… “ye mera ab tak ka favorite hai. Bas. YE FINAL LOGO HAI…MUJHE YE CHAAHIYE!!!” And amidst all this, came a guy’s voice “tum mujhe choone ke bahaane mat dhoondo!” saying to no one but his best friend!!! This had us all in splits. And so, we agreed upon a logo with the decision that still a bit needs to be modified and then that is gonna be the face of CRESCENDO 2010.
I, not much of an internet user, whenever go online, always find at least 4 people from the team online. And atleast a couple of dozen of fresh mails in the inbox, undoubtedly Crescendo’s. I feel so proud of the team for their hard work !

Amidst all this, I bet, not everyone from the second year remembers the QT the test on the “not-so-simple” simplex method... Guys! Don’t miss out on the study part! Coz of that, we are privileged to organize what we call the dream of every ambitious CBSite….. CRESCENDO!!!
